DISTRICT (Special) – Residents of the Elk Lake and Matachewan areas take note – your power will be off for a six-hour stretch at the end of the month.

Hydro One has announced it’ll be conducting regular maintenance Sunday, April 29.

The outage is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. and run until 1 p.m.

Some 2,230 customers in the following areas will be affected – Eby, Boston, Otto, Grenfell, Maisonville, Marquis, Kirkland Lake, James, Pacaud, Matachewan, Chown, Benoit, Nicol, Matachewan First Nation, Lawson and Tudhope.
