ENGLEHART (Staff) – Camping opens at Kap-Kig-Iwan Provincial Park on Friday, June 26.
Campers can register for a camping spot online at Ontario Parks.
People wishing to visit the park for the day can use self-serve envelopes at the park office at the entrance. There are different rates for different users, and for driving in or walking in. The prices are posted at the entrance.
Users are encouraged to support the park through usage. All funds raised through park fees are returned into the park for capital projects.
The park is operated by the Town of Englehart with financial support from its neighbouring municipalities–the Municipality of Charlton and Dack, Evanturel Township and Chamberlain Township.
