Indigenous Ingenuity on display

TEMISKAMING SHORES – If you’ve never tried dog sledding or hunting with a bow and arrow, now’s your chance.

A dog sled experience using virtual reality and a hunting simulation game are part of a new exhibit that will be in Temiskaming Shores for just one month.

Indigenous Ingenuity: Timeless Inventions opens Saturday at the Lawrence “Bun” Eckensviller Community Hall on Whitewood Avenue in New Liskeard and runs until September 17.

The exhibit, presented by Indigenous Tourism Ontario and Science North, runs Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free.
