TEMISKAMING SHORES —The City of Temiskaming Shores is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Municipal Parking Lot off Wellington Street. Material accepted at the event include:

• Paint, solvents, pesticides and fertilizer
• Single use batteries
• Pressurized cylinders
• Antifreeze and its container, empty oil containers, oil filters
• Fluorescent light bulbs

Due to this event, traffic volume is expected to increase along Wellington Street. Please use extra caution when driving in this area.
