Environment and Climate Change Canada issued the following warning for the Temiskaming Shores area earlier today (Tuesday):
A flash freeze is expected late this afternoon and through the evening as a cold front sweeps across the region.
Temperatures are forecast to fall rapidly behind the front. Ponding water, slush, and any falling precipitation will freeze as the temperature drops.
