DISTRICT — Due to the heat of summer, fire bans are back on in area municipalities.

Coleman Township and Temiskaming Shores have just implemented fire bans in those municipalities with likely many more municipalities to follow.

All outside open burning is prohibited during a fire ban.

If you are unsure about whether there is a fire ban in place in your municipality, give your municipal office a call and they can inform you of the current situation with fire bans.
