Clinic remembers long-time donor

TEMISKAMING SHORES (Staff) – This week’s blood donor clinic in New Liskeard is being held in memory of Ron Rivard.

Mr. Rivard, an Earlton resident, died February 1 after a battle with cancer.

While he himself didn’t receive blood products during his treatment, he was described as an avid blood donor.

The blood donor clinic will be held September 29 at Riverside Place in New Liskeard from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
