DISTRICT — A major winter storm that moved  through the Temiskaming region beginning Sunday, December 28 through until Monday night resulted in the closure of Highway 11 from North Bay to Matheson.says Northeast region Ontario Provincial Police.

Highway 11 has since reopened from North Bay to Matheson .

Highway 573 from Charlton to Highway 11 remains closed as work crews clear the roads previously impacted by severe weather.
