Next Stop Englehart Quilter’s Guild executive members Ingrid Corley (left) and Kathy Scott (right) are pictured here with a quilt and table runners that were part of a display of 120 guilts and other quilted items reflecting on the theme of Elbows Up Stitches in Hand. The quilt was made by chairperson Lynne Rowlandson, and machine quilted by Shirley LaCarte. Also displayed with the quilt is a table runner by Rowlandson (lower, titled Canada Day), a table runner by Pat Cousineau (upper right, titled Autumn Welcome), and at the lower left is a piece titled Lest We Forget, made by Debbie Corley. The grouping of quilted pieces greeted visitors to the St. Paul’s Emmanuel United Church in Englehart where the exhibition took place May 9 and 10. (LJI photo by Darlene Wroe)
