TEMISKAMING SHORES — The Rockin’ On Canada Day event organizers, led by Barry Phippen, are hosting a meeting and social with a barbecue on Tuesday, September 10 outside the Service Canada offices on Lakeshore Road.

They are asking young and old to attend and provide feedback on the viability of hosting mega events in Temiskaming Shores during the long weekend in July.

There is a questionnaire that they would like people to fill out indicating if they are in favour of bringing the Rockin’ On Canada Day event back next year and if people would like to see the fireworks display return?

The event begins at 4 p.m. at the College Boreal entrance in New Liskeard. For more information check out the Rockin’ On Canada Day Facebook page.
