COLEMAN TOWNSHIP (Staff) – Ontario Provincial Police are starting the process of moving traffic on Highway 11. However they are not yet ready to admit more traffic. They are first attempting to clear up existing traffic which has been sitting on Highway 11 between Latchford and Portage Bay Road since Thursday evening, March 7.

The highway has been closed while an investigation was carried out regarding an incident which occurred in the Portage Bay Road area in Coleman Township north of Latchford in the late afternoon and throughout the evening of Thursday, March 7.

One person has died and another person fled and was later apprehended by police just after midnight.
