The OPP have lifted a shelter-in-place advisory for Latchford and the surrounding area.

But in a media release this morning (Friday), they advised the public to expect an increased police presence in the area as they remain on the scene for an investigation in the vicinity of Highway 11 and Portage Bay Road.

Hwy. 11 remained closed between the turnoff to Hwy. 11B to Cobalt and Hwy. 558 (West Road) in Haileybury.
