TEMISKAMING SHORES — The 5th annual North On Tap Craft Beer Festival takes place this coming weekend, on Saturday, July 8 at the Haileybury Harbour Place.
Events begin Friday, July 7 with an alcohol-free Family Fun Night from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. featuring a barbecue, face painting, children’s inflatables and a street dance. The fireworks has been cancelled due to the provincial fire ban. This all takes place at the Harbour Place in Haileybury.
On Saturday, beginning at 12 noon the Hop To It 5km run/walk takes place from the Haileybury beach area out onto the STATO trail.
The Craft Beer Festival turns on the tap beginning at noon until 9 p.m. featuring eight breweries, two distilleries and five food vendors.
Entertainers will provide live music on the main stage beginning at noon until 9 p.m.
No dogs are allowed on site and the event is a cash only with an ATM on site.
This volunteer powered community mega event has given back $231,500 so far to not-for-profit groups in the South Temiskaming region.
