DISTRICT — Highway 11 has been reopened in both directions.
It was closed earlier today. Wednesday, April 5, from Matheson to North Bay due to a severe winter storm.
There is currently a weather warning in effect for the region.
It says freezing rain with ice accretion of 5 to 10 mm is possible.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Isolated power outages are also possible.
Rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm of rain is expected and localized flooding in low-lying areas are possible.
