With Chip McDivot
Not much change with the move to Stage 2 for golf courses. No indoor dining permitted yet, but outdoor gathering limits are upped to 25.
For now, the Haileybury Golf Club (HGC) will run status quo. Flow of golf is great, very few backups or pushing the group ahead.
Junior Golf
Juniors have begun their five-week program of lessons that run from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Golfers teeing off between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. are asked to perhaps start on 9 and finish your round on the 8th green. The Juniors may be using the 9th fairway and green. To keep everyone safe, the 9th hole is off limits until 10:30.
Ladies’ Night
Despite an awesome start to the day, the clouds rolled in around 3:30 p.m. the heavens opened up and the rain started to fall.
Washed out for this week.
