Bolger Avenue resident Rhona Knott was startled to see a large unfamiliar caterpillar on her driveway last week. It turns out it’s a Hyalophora cecropia larva and, if it survives the winter in a cocoon, will emerge in the spring as a giant silk moth. (Staff photo by Diane Johnston)
