If you placed an order for a pepperette fundraiser in Cobalt, you may have been the victim of a fraud.
Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police advise that a young male was going door-to-door in Cobalt in November and December soliciting orders for pepperettes.
Police say the fundraiser was fraudulent in nature and not legitimate.
Anyone who placed an order but has not yet received the product is urged to contact police.
Police are also appealing to the public for information.
Callers may remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-2477, or online, at www.canadiancrimestoppers.org/tips.
Information that leads to an arrest in this or any other serious case may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
