TEMAGAMI (Staff) – Thanks to recent rainfall, fire restrictions in Temagami have been lifted.

Open burning permits had been suspended June 23.

(The restrictions did not apply to campfires, provided that precautions were taken in terms of their location and timing and that tools were on hand to extinguish them.)

As of July 11, there were no fire bans in the municipality.
