Rainfall Warning for: New Liskeard – Temagami ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA AT 3:40 P.M. EDT TUESDAY 14 OCTOBER 2014 Summary Rain is expected to continue for much of the day and into tonight. The heaviest rain is expected this afternoon and will diminish in intensity tonight. Some areas have already reported nearly 50 mm of rain. Totaly rainfall amounts of 50 to 70 mm are likely by the time the rain diminishes in intensity this evening. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
