Vehicle Accident – Update
Two-vehicle accident outside New Liskeard
DISTRICT (Staff) — A 15-year-old male was transported by air ambulance to Ottawa Monday morning, December 30 after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11 outside New Liskeard.
The 15-year-old male was a passenger in the car involved in a collision with a minivan at the intersection of Highway 11 and Rockley Road at approximately 10 a.m.
Two other occupants in the car were taken by ambulance to hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Two of the four occupants in the minivan were also transported by ambulance to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries, police stated.
Police are investigating the collision with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit.
The highway was closed along the highway bypass of New Liskeard as the collision was being investigated.
