Special Weather Statement
New Liskeard – Temagami
Issued at 16:19 Friday 20 November 2015
Heavy snow likely Saturday and Saturday night. An area of snow is expected to begin moving into Northeastern Ontario Saturday morning and continue through Saturday night. The snow will likely be heavy at times and current guidance suggests that 10 to 15 cm of snow will be possible by Sunday morning. Gusty winds could result in some local blowing snow. Travellers should be prepared for winter driving conditions due to accumulating snow and reduced visibilities. Snowfall warnings have been issued for the North Bay-West Nipissing and Espanola – Killarney regions where snow amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected. There is still uncertainty in the intensity and track of this system. Environment Canada meteorologists are watching its development closely. Additional snowfall warnings may still be required.Find out more ›
