Conditions will be favourable this afternoon and early this evening for the development of severe thunderstorms, capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain. Isolated tornadoes are also a risk.

Be prepared for severe weather. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. In Canada, lightning kills up to 10 people every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors.
