Motor vehicle collision closes Hwy. 11

DISTRICT (Staff-Special) – According to a news release issued at 7:45 p.m. this evening, Tuesday, December 22, by the Temiskaming detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Highway 11 has been closed due to a motor vehicle collision south of Maille Drive in New Liskeard.

The only other information released at this time is that two vehicles were involved in the incident.

Police also say “The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.

“Please do not call O.P.P. Provincial Communication Centres for road advisory updates or road condition information.

“Visit the Ontario Ministry of Transportation website at ontario.ca/511, twitter @511Ontario  or call 511 traveller’s information such as winter road conditions, construction reports, road closures, traffic reports, traffic cameras and interactive mapping.”
