TEMISKAMING SHORES (Staff) – After investigating a report of a suspicious man in the vicinity of Haileybury Public School, police have said there is no risk to public safety.

“A man was located that matched the description provided and through investigation, he poses no risk,” said Constable Renee Taylor of the Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police in an email March 14.

The investigation was launched after police were contacted last week concerning a man and vehicle reported to have been observed in the area of the school.

Police say their investigation has now concluded.
