TEMISKAMING SHORES (Special) – Water will be shut off for users of the New Liskeard system in the early morning hours of Wednesday November 25.

At this time, the city and Timiskaming Health Unit do not anticipate issuing a boil-water advisory.

Water will be shut off for four hours between midnight November 24 and 4 a.m. November 25 as workers upgrade the drinking water distribution system at the Shepherdson Road reservoir.

“The City asks that you do not use the water during these hours. When the water has been restored, flush your cold water taps for a minimum of 10 minutes,” the municipality and health unit advised.
