MUNICIPAL FIRE BAN

As of Thursday, August 4, 2016, the municipalities of Latchford, Coleman, Cobalt and the City of Temiskaming Shores have all issued fire bans with no open air burning until the extreme high fire hazard improves. According to Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) the northeast region’s fire hazard is high to extreme because of hot, dry conditions.
