ENGLEHART (Staff) — Hydro One has updated its power interruption notification.

A hydro interruption is taking place in Englehart, Larder Lake, McGarry, Dack, Sharpe, McVittie, Marter, Bayly, Evanturel, Marquis, Robillard, Ingram, Gauthier, Arnold, Lebel, Chamberlain, Charlton and Savard at this time.

Previously, over 3,000 customers were affected. Hydro One is now stated that 1,132 customers remain without power.

The power outage began at 9:38 a.m. Tuesday morning, September 13, and is estimated to continue until 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Hydro One gives the reason for the outage as an equipment failure.

At the time of the most recent notification, at 10:36 a.m., Hydro One stated that crews were onsite at the off-road location, and that specialized equipment would be required to resolve the equipment failure.
