The battered trailer of an 18-wheel transport truck can be seen after it collided with an eastbound Canadian National freight train on August 17 near Bedard Road on Highway 11. The OPP determined the signal lights at the railway crossing were faulty. Highway 11 was closed for almost nine hours. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries. (Staff photo by Sue Nielsen)
