FREEZING RAIN WARNING

The Weather Network has issued a weather warning for the Temiskaming region.

It says there is a risk of freezing rain Tuesday afternoon, December 1 as an area of precipitation moves into the region. It is possible that any freezing rain that does occur could take several hours to change over to rain says The Weather Network. The areas most likely to experience the freezing rain will be in the Northeastern part of Ontario from Chapleau to Kirkland Lake and Temagami. Environment Canada meteorologists will continue to monitor the situation closely and issue a freezing rain-warning if required. Travel may become difficult at times due to slippery roads and walkways. Motorists are advised to take extra care on roadways.
