New Liskeard – Temagami Issued at 14:46 Wednesday 09 March 2016 Dense fog, then freezing drizzle. Dense fog is occurring in areas to the north of Lake Huron this afternoon. A shift to a light northerly flow will allow the fog to begin to lift by early evening from New Liskeard to Elliot Lake and later this evening in the Sudbury and North Bay areas. However, the light northerly winds will also cause temperatures to drop below the freezing mark with freezing drizzle expected in many locales. As a result, as the fog begins to lift, untreated roads and sidewalks will become icy in many areas. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.
