Before there were modern rods and reels, some anglers would use wooden spools to retrieve fishing lines. Brothers William, 5, and Harley Peddie, 3, got to try a version of that technique with the help of Olivier Renson from Association de Canot Camping du Lac Témiscamingue (ACCLT).
