ENGLEHART/LATCHFORD (Staff) – The users of the Englehart water distribution system have been advised that there is a boil water advisory on until further notice. The precautionary boil water advisory was issued by the Timiskaming Health Unit and the town, due to low water pressure in the distribution system.
The residents of Latchford are under a boil water advisory due to a water main break. Pedersens is currently on the scene repairing the water main break.
Englehart chief administrative officer Malorie Robinson stated in an email Thursday morning, November 23, at approximately 10:30 a.m. that the town is working with the Ontario Clean Water Agency to determine the issue. The water treatment plant is back up and running, she added.
