Nipissing-Timiskaming NDP hopeful Scott Robertson was in New Liskeard August 22, and chatted with passersby on the boardwalk including Rheal Julien, at left, and his brother Leo. It was Robertson’s first trip to the northern part of the riding since the August 15 election call, and said he hopes to visit at least once a week “to say hello to people and knock on doors.” As he’s gone door to door in North Bay, he said he’s hearing concerns about housing, affordability in general, and climate change.
