ARMSTRONG STREET CLOSURE

Armstrong Street in downtown New Liskeard is temporarily closed due to a water line service job being undertaken for a clothing store. The road is closed from the bank corner at the corner of Whitewood Avenue and Armstrong Street over to the Wabi River Bridge and is expected to open later on today, Monday, April 18 says City of Temiskaming Shores Environmental Superintendent Bob Beaudoin. He said the work is being done by a private contractor and not the City of Temiskaming Shores.  Traffic is being re-routed
