When the Pavilion Women’s Centre issued a call for toiletries, English Catholic Central School responded. The students’ council recently turned over the donation of hygiene products – from toothbrushes to deodorant to sanitary supplies – to Melanie Ducharme, the Pavilion’s executive director. Turning the donation over to Ducharme, seen above in the centre, was the students’ council – from left, grade 7 and 8 students Mackenzie Brown, Kaitlyn Lapointe, Gracie Beaudry, John Turner, Brett Ruddy, Cameron Olsen and Dexton Grant. The campaign resulted in “a mound” of donations from the wider community, said Ducharme.
