DISTRICT (Staff) – Hydro One has given notice that there will be a planned hydro interruption in some areas of the district on the morning of Sunday, October 16 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The areas that will be affected include James Township, Matachewan, Matachewan First Nation, Kenabeek and other areas including Nicol, Pacaud, Chown, Lawson, Tudhope, Otto, Eby, Grenfell, Boston, Maisonville, and Benoit.

Hydro One states that the reason for the outage is to replace hydro equipment.

There will be 1,748 customers affected by the outage.
