EVANTUREL (Staff) – Police say Hwy. 11 will be closed for several hours as investigation continues into a fatal crash earlier this morning.

Temiskaming OPP confirmed that one person has died in the collision, which occurred south of Englehart in Evanturel Township October 5.

Police, Englehart firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Highway 11 is closed in both directions. Police say detours are available, using highways 65 and 66.

They’re appealing to the public for any information regarding the collision.
