TEMAGAMI (Staff) — A fundraising effort involving a 50/50 ticket draw has been created to help offset medical costs for Elliott Lacroix Belanger, seven, of Temagami. He is having surgery in North Bay to correct muscle structure in his leg so he can walk flat footed and be able to do everyday activities.

Elliot had a stroke at birth, causing Cerebral Palsy and right Hemiplegia (limited use of his right side). People are being asked to purchase 50/50 tickets at the Jamie’s Army Facebook page for $5 dollars each or five for $20.  Ticket buyers only have until Thursday, January 21, to purchase tickets.
