TEMISKAMING SHORES (Staff) – An extreme heat warning continues for the region, and is expected to continue through the week ahead.

Environment Canada warns that extreme heat affects everyone.

“The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors,” Environment Canada stated in its warning issued Thursday morning, July 2.
