EARLTON (Staff) — One man was sent to hospital after a collision on Highway 11 on the Armstrong Township, Friday, September 18, according to unconfirmed reports.

According to unconfirmed reports, a side-by-side vehicle fell off a trailer towed by a pickup truck and landed traffic.

A transport truck then collided with a car, according to people behind the accident scene.

Witnesses credited the driving of the transport driver as the accident unfolded. They said “it could have been much worse.”

The scene was attended by police, emergency medical services crew and the Armstrong Township fire department.

Traffic was rerouted through the town of Earlton.

Although there had been rain that day, witnesses said it was not raining at the time of the accident.
