Dymond boil-water advisory lifted
TEMISKAMING SHORES (Staff) – The boil-water advisory was lifted for Dymond water system users October 1.
However, it remains in place for users of the New Liskeard water system.
When an advisory is lifted, the city advises the following:
- Run cold water faucets and drinking fountains for 10 minutes before using the water.
- Run water softeners through a regeneration cycle.
- Drain and refill hot water heaters set below 45 degrees Celsius (a normal setting is 60 degrees Celsius).
- If you have any questions, contact city hall or the Timiskaming Health Unit, at 705-647-4305.
