Coleman issues fire ban

COLEMAN (Staff-special) – As of the afternoon of Wednesday, August 3,The Township of Coleman has declared a fire ban due to

extremely dry conditions.

All open fires are now prohibited, including

recreational fires and residential fire pits.

The township asks that anyone operating

an ATV or a similar vehicle in dry grassy areas be conscious of the

potential of causing a fire. This advisory will remain in effect until fire

hazard conditions improve.
