Has any published Veteran’s story been left out?

DISTRICT (Staff) –The book The Temiskaming Speaker has been putting together on the stories told over the past two decades from World War II veterans is now nearing completion.
The book will consist of previously published stories going back to the 1990s on our local World War II vets. Since March of this year we have reached out to the public asking if they knew of any surviving World War II veterans who may not have had membership in the Royal Canadian Legion. We thank the public for their input and we thank those veterans for consenting to be interviewed.
In order to make absolute certain we have not left anyone out, we are publishing this list, in alphabetical order, of the people who will be featured in the book.
This list goes back to 1994 of veterans who have had their story published in The Speaker . If anyone in the public recognizes a name whose story was published in The Speaker but is not on this list they can contact us at (705) 647-6791, extension 239 or email us at “gord@northernontario.ca.”
