Winter storm warning continues April 4:

Winter storm warning in effect for:

  • New Liskeard – Temagami

Hazardous winter conditions are expected.

Major winter storm continues today.

Further snowfall amounts near 10 cm are expected today, resulting in storm totals of 15 to 30 cm in many areas. Strong and gusty northerly winds are causing blowing snow, with frequent very low visibility possible.

The snow will end by this evening as the storm moves into Quebec.

Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.

Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
