KIRKLAND LAKE (Staff) – Police are requesting the public’s help to locate a missing man.Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police are looking for 66-year-old Paul Yelland.Police say he was last seen around 12:30 p.m. October 23 in the vicinity of Beaver Lake near Matachewan.Yelland is described as six feet in height

Environment Canada ended its special weather statement for the Temiskaming Shores area at 5:12 a.m. today (Tues., Oct. 24). That statement, in effect since Sunday afternoon, had warned of heavy rainfall.
